PERIKOS is a chain of bakery stores located in Córdoba, Argentina; for the past 50 years they have been producing very high-end, quality products. The objective was to update their packaging design which had always followed very traditional lines.

The graphic elements featured a brand logo as the only sign of identity; also, a little-defined chromatic code based on the yellow and brown institutional colors, offered only tonal variations.
First we made a few minor adjustments to the logo’s composition and then developed standard rules of usage and application. We also redefined the chromatic codes along the pantone model, so as to limit variants as well as create typographic criteria.
We successfully modernized the packaging by maintaining formal design structures and adding an element of personalization by creating new graphic resources. The newer, fresher look totally supported the company’s long-standing history and reputation for quality products.
